We want you to know when we store which data and how we use it. Personal data is collected on this IONOS web server only to the extent technically necessary. Data processing is subject to the applicable data protection regulations, in particular the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Bavarian Data Protection Act (BayDSG) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
Below we inform you about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data. This information can be accessed on our website at any time.
Technical operation
The web servers of www.shang-garden.de are operated by Mr Chong Cheng.
Logging
When you visit this or other websites, your browser transmits data to our web server. The following data is temporarily recorded in a log file during an active connection for communication between your browser and our web server:
- IP address of the requesting computer
- Date and time of access
- Name, URL and amount of data transferred of the requested file
- Access status (requested file transferred, not found, etc.)
- Identification data of the browser and operating system used (if transmitted by the requesting browser)
- Website from which the access was made (if transmitted by the requesting browser)
The data in this log file is processed as follows:
- The log entries are evaluated manually when necessary in order to detect attacks on the web servers and respond accordingly.
- In individual cases, i.e. in the event of reported faults, errors and security incidents, a manual analysis is carried out.
- Log entries older than seven days are deleted.
We do not combine the IP addresses contained in the log entries with other data, so it is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons.
Active components
This website uses active components such as JavaScript, Java applets or ActiveX controls. You can switch off this function in your browser settings.
Cookies
To extend the functionality of our website and make it more convenient for you to use, we sometimes use so-called “cookies”. With the help of these cookies, data can be stored on your computer when you visit our website. You can, however, deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser so that cookies are only stored for the duration of the respective connection to the internet. This may, however, limit the functionality of our website.
Anonymous counting of page views
To find out how often our pages are viewed, we count page views with a function integrated into our content management system (TYPO3). Counting is done via an invisible image that is loaded from our own web server when a page is viewed. Only the page viewed, the time and the language set in the browser are stored. No cookies are set, no IP addresses are stored and no user profiles are created; it is not possible to identify you. The data remains on our server and is not passed on to third parties. Insofar as personal data is involved at all, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing our website to meet our visitors’ needs (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Web analysis with Matomo
We use the open-source software Matomo for the statistical analysis of the use of our website. Matomo runs exclusively on our own web server; the data is not passed on to third parties. When you visit our pages, the following information in particular is processed: the pages viewed and the time spent on them, the previously visited page (referrer), date and time, browser, operating system, device type and screen resolution, the browser language and your IP address. The IP address is immediately shortened by two bytes (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx), stored only in this anonymised form and used for an approximate determination of location (country/region); it is not possible to identify you.
Matomo is configured so that no cookies are set and no permanent user profiles are created. The analysis serves to improve our website and tailor it to our visitors’ needs; the legal basis is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
If you have activated the “Do Not Track” setting in your browser, your visits will not be recorded. You can also object to the analysis at any time, for example by email to the address given in the imprint.
Google Maps
On this page we embed the maps of the “Google Maps” service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When the map is loaded, data – in particular your IP address – is transferred to Google servers in the USA and processed there, regardless of whether you are logged in to Google. We have no influence on the scope and further processing of this data by Google. More information: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/, opt-out: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
Online forms
Personal data that you may send us via the table reservation form and contact forms is only accepted with your consent and is used exclusively for the purpose stated in the forms. Please note the relevant information on the forms.
All forms only collect the personal data that is strictly necessary. As a rule, the personal data is stored in a database and is accessible to the responsible staff of the Shang Garden restaurant. If the purpose of the data collection is to make the data accessible to other members of the Shang Garden restaurant as well, the principle of data minimisation is observed. Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is explicitly stated in the form.
Your personal data will be deleted once the purpose has been fulfilled.
You can revoke your consent for the future at any time. To do so, please contact info@shang-garden.de. Your data will then be deleted immediately.
Electronic mail (email)
Information that you send to us unencrypted by electronic mail (email) may be read by third parties during transmission. As a rule, we also cannot verify your identity and do not know who is behind an email address. Legally secure communication by simple email is therefore not guaranteed. Like many email providers, we use filters against unwanted advertising (“spam filters”), which in rare cases may also mistakenly classify normal emails as unwanted advertising and delete them automatically. Emails containing harmful programs (“viruses”) are always deleted automatically.
Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to adapt our privacy policy from time to time so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. We recommend that you read this privacy policy regularly to stay informed about the protection of the personal data we collect. By continuing to use the service, you agree to this privacy policy and its updates.
Information and correction
You have the right to receive, upon written request and free of charge, information about the personal data stored about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your data blocked and deleted.
